The Bakersfield Green Thumb Garden
Club in Kern County started in May of
1995 and is listed in the Sequoia
Foothills District within the Pacific
Region, California Garden Clubs, Inc.
of the National Council of State Garden
Clubs, Inc.

The club's purpose is to bring together
those interested in expanding and
sharing their horticultural knowledge
and experience, and to promote
interest in gardening, floral and
landscape design, youth education,
conservation, and civic beautification.
